We are a small family run biodynamic olive grove at Mt Egerton, in the beautiful countryside of the Central Highlands of Victoria, Australia.

Our premium oils are cold pressed, extra virgin and biodynamic, meaning they have intense flavour and are better for you, naturally.

Organic Farming

Campbell Mercer, the man behind Manna Hill Estate, is passionate about regenerative farming - regenerating the land, rural communities and our deep connection to nature. Biodynamic certification is a key step on that journey. Campbell practices what he preaches and his farm is organic as you can get.

Environment

The farm consists of gently undulating land with the north facing slopes planted out to about 2,500 olive trees. In addition there a sections of  bio-rich timber (for carbon sequestration, shelter and enhanced environmental outcomes), along with a significant portion of remnant native grasslands and bush associated with a waterway and valley to protect the natural environment

We also use solar hot water and grid interactive solar panels in conjunction with the use of 100% ‘green power’ to minimize our greenhouse gas emissions.

For the technically minded …

Extra virgin olive oil is the highest grade of olive oil that can be produced.

Manna Hill Estate oil consistently exceeds the extra virgin olive oil standard. We confirm this by testing our oil to ensure it meets the AS 5264 and the IOOC chemical and organoleptic standards for extra virgin olive oil.

Our NASAA biodynamic certification (Producer # 3595) is your assurance that our olives are grown and processed without the use of synthetic chemicals, fertilisers, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs) using environmentally sustainable farming practices.
